Video Spread leads to Arrest

Two members of Emirati Road and Transport Authority are given 3 month suspended sentence for distributing a video of the death of a policeman who was directing traffic at that time. The dead man’s brother heard that people are enjoying the video of the accident on their mobiles. He then contacted the authorities and they were captured.

This is not the first time that mobiles are used to spread something that is indecent and horrific. And obviously those who enjoyed it include people from all ages and from all walks of life and none of them felt the need to raise an objection about it. The guy whose brother was a victim of it was hurt because his brother was in it otherwise we have become so insensitive and heartless that these things hardly bother us.

Finally Justice is Served!!

Remember the pop star Suzanne Tamim who was brutally murdered in Dubai Marina in July, and an Egyptian business tycoonHisham Talaat Moustafa was under investigation. The investigations showed that he hired a contract killer and gave him 2 Million dollars for the murder. Well finally  thanks to the pressurization of Dubai Police on Tuesday he was arrested. It must not have been easy as he was a close ally of President Hosni Mubarak’s son, Gamal Mubarak.

We must applaud Dubai Police for their efforts in capturing the killer.
